Increased Tariffs on Aluminum and Steel

The U.S. authorities have recently raised tariffs on aluminum and steel products to 50%.

 Abolition of Section 321 “De Minimis” Exemption

 Effective immediately, the U.S. government has modified Section 321, removing the de minimis exemption that previously allowed shipments under $800 USD to enter tariff-free. This means that all shipments, regardless of value, must now be formally declared with HS codes and are subject to applicable tariffs.
